Shermin

Self-employed bookkeeper · England

"After my MS diagnosis, and the fact that I could no longer operate my computer, I lost my ability to work as a bookkeeper."

Shermin was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012, when her daughter was four years old. She worked as a self-employed bookkeeper from home, but her condition gradually worsened: since summer 2018, she’s been unable to make any hand movements at all.

She found the IntegraMouse Plus through Peter Hamlin, an assistive technology expert at Hillingdon Hospital. Since then, she’s been able to work on a computer again, and now looks after seven companies as a bookkeeper. “Despite my MS diagnosis, the IntegraMouse Plus gave me back my professional independence!” she says.
