Mario has been tetraplegic since a swimming accident in 2009. Before his accident he was a passionate DJ – thanks to the IntegraMouse, he’s able to keep pursuing that passion to this day. His biggest dream came true in 2014, when he DJed at the Donauinselfest, one of Europe’s largest open-air festivals; these days he regularly plays at Zumba events and corporate functions.
A newspaper article about Mario using the IntegraMouse caught IntegraTools’ attention. He became an IntegraMouse ambassador, sharing his experiences at conferences and in the media, and was closely involved as a tester in developing the IntegraMouse AIR. Since 2021 he’s been a permanent member of the IntegraTools team: he tests the AIR intensively, supports the support team, and contributes his perspective as a peer counsellor to research – including on accessible gaming.
