In 2013, Jan was severely injured on a climbing trip and has been paraplegic and permanently on a ventilator ever since. While still in hospital, he sat the final exam of his veterinary degree – with the computer access the IntegraMouse gave him making it possible.
Jan has been an active user for over ten years and has tried several comparable products in that time – but he always came back to the IntegraMouse, for its ergonomics, ease of use and robustness, which he describes as “practically indestructible.” At home, he also controls his smart home system via the IntegraMouse, and combines it with voice and eye control as well. “When I’m using a PC for work or entertainment, I don’t feel disabled at all,” he says.
